nder the patronage of the President of Tikrit University, Professor Dr. Waad Mahmoud Raouf, and under the supervision of both Assistant Professor Dr. Ghassan Hamad Abdullah, Dean of the College of Petroleum Engineering Operations, aUnd Assistant Professor Dr. Siyaf Abdul Hussein, Director of the Continuing Education Center, the Women’s Affairs Unit and the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit at the College of Petroleum Engineering Operations organized a scientific seminar entitled:
“Towards a Just Society that Upholds Peace and Safeguards Human Dignity.” The seminar was held on Sunday, 14/12/2025, with the attendance of a number of faculty members, staff, and students. The seminar addressed several key themes focusing on promoting the values of social justice, spreading a culture of peace, and strengthening respect for human dignity. It also highlighted the role of educational institutions in building a cohesive society based on coexistence and the rejection of violence, in addition to emphasizing the importance of psychological counseling and educational guidance in supporting social stability.
The seminar was presented by:

- Assistant Lecturer Rand Saad Ahmed Naji – College of Petroleum Engineering Operations
At the conclusion of the seminar, the organizers stressed the importance of continuing to hold such scientific and cultural events due to their effective role in raising community awareness and promoting human values within the university environment.
