Under the patronage of the President of the University of Tikrit, Prof. Waad Mahmood Raouf, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Petroleum Process Engineering, Asst. Prof. Dr. Ghassan Hamad Abdullah, the College of Petroleum Process Engineering, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Center at the University Presidency, organized a scientific course entitled:“Electrical Energy Rationalization Management System – ISO 50001.”The course lasted for three days, from Monday to Wednesday, December 1–3, 2025. A group of the college’s faculty members delivered the lectures according to the following schedule:Day One: Asst. Prof. Dr. Qutaiba Abdullah Hassan Asst. Lecturer Yaseen Khudair Yaseen Day Two: Assoc. Prof. Maha Ibrahim Saleh Asst. Prof. Dr. Adnan Ibrahim Ahmed Day Three:Lecturer Rand Saad AhmedThe course aimed to promote awareness and knowledge regarding the importance of rationalizing electrical energy consumption, in addition to introducing the requirements of the international standard ISO 50001 and the mechanisms for its implementation in institutions to enhance energy efficiency and reduce waste. This aligns with the university’s orientation toward fostering a culture of sustainability and effective resource management.
