Under the patronage of the President of the University of Tikrit, Prof. Dr. Waad Mahmoud Raouf, and under the supervision of Asst. Prof. Dr. Ghassan Hamad Abdullah, Dean of the College of Petroleum Process Engineering, the College, in cooperation with the Center for Continuing Education, the Psychological Counseling Division at the University Presidency, and the College of Education for Humanities, organized an awareness seminar entitled “Religion and Law as Pillars for Building Social Peace” on Sunday, November 2, 2025. This seminar comes as part of the college’s awareness activities aimed at promoting a culture of academic integrity and strengthening the values of honesty and scientific ethics among students. The seminar was presented by Asst. Prof. Dr. Khalid Ubaid Saleh from the College of Education for Humanities, Lecturer Qutaiba Hameed Mohammed from the College of Petroleum Process Engineering, and Lecturer Safa Khalaf Atiya. The seminar aimed to promote the values of civil peace and positive coexistence among members of the university community by emphasizing the vital role of religion and law in establishing the principles of justice, rejecting violence, and respecting the rights of others. It also sought to spread the culture of academic integrity and reinforce the concepts of honesty and sincerity in both study and work.
